Time flies when you don't have any!

I can't quite believe where it all goes. It's almost exactly a month since I write the first entry into my blog. For all you thousands of subscribers out there, I'm sorry! (That's a blatant lie, of course. Not the sorry bit. The thousands of subscribers. I think I must be talking to myself. So, nothing new there!) To make it up to you, I've uploaded a story on the Writer page for your entertainment. It's also being published in tiny bits at Quillpill, if you like your fiction in episodic form.

I'm working on the illustrations for it at the moment; they'll be added to the story as and when I finish them. It will also be available as a downloadable PDF, when that non-existent time allows.

My first blog entry, or "How to stretch a Metaphor as far as it will go".

Well, here it is! The inaugural entry into what I hope will be a regular blog, but which will, inevitably, be a somwhat intermittent one! It's taken awhile to get this website off the ground, but now it's here, it's a relief to have the initial design put to bed, with most of the bugs hoovered off, and two alternative sets of bed linen provided for those who wish to change the sheets!

I'd carry that metaphor further, but at this stage, it may be better to leave it at that...
